How? First by identifying an individual’s area of interest. Then by developing and preparing a business plan together, which will transform what they like to do into a profitable business venture, while taking into account the reality of the markets. The NFTE training gives the youth a basic understanding of the business world and at the same time helps them use this knowledge in their everyday lives. Although the material of the program focuses on starting a business, frankly, if the student finds work or resumes their formal education as a result of their training, it is also considered a success. Teaching is done with practical examples and a no-nonsense approach with an emphasis on each student’s interests, abilities and knowledge. After the program, those who chose to start their own business can benefit from the continued support and training offered by NFTE. They can count on NFTE and the aid of a sponsor from the private sector such as a CEO or other such person. The quality of the training is vitally important. All trainers must complete theoretical and practical training. Those who have successfully completed this training are the only ones who can teach the NFTE courses. Our trainers use their own experiences and personal success as convincing examples of the benefits of the entrepreneurial spirit.
